Get ready for an adventure-packed summer at Sun Fire Stables with our 22nd Annual Youth Day Camps! Whether your child is a beginner or an experienced rider, our camps offer a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun with horses. *Approval required for "Jump" camp. For "Advanced" camp, camper must be a minimum of Yellow Level in our Level Up program and have approval to attend.

ALL campers must complete a minimum of TWO riding lessons at least ONE month prior to their first day of camp. These lessons must be completed AFTER January 1, 2025. This also applies for those students and/or campers who have taken riding lessons at SFS in the past. For new students, allow extra time to complete a farm tour as this is required prior to scheduling riding lessons.

A Day at Youth Day Camp

Experience a typical day at Youth Day Camp, filled with exciting activities, hands-on learning, and unforgettable memories. Youth Day Camp time is 8am - 12 noon daily, except for special camps. Students are invited to come as early as 7am to help feed.

7am-8am: Feeding (optional AM camp)
HR 1: Get started with small group activity and/or project
HR 2: Get horse/pony, groom, tack up, lead down to arena
HR 3: Handling and riding in arena, game or skill of the day
HR 4: Untack, groom, put horse/pony away, clean up
Lunch Break: Conclude day with a break for lunch along with trivia, games, and/or discussion
5pm-6pm: Feeding (optional PM camp)

Important Note: No worries if there happens to be inclement weather, indoor arena available for riding or other indoor activities, or a field trip to another equine facility or tack shop may be arranged.

$330/Student/Session

Includes Sun Fire Stables t-shirt, water bottle, fun show with ribbons awarded, and photo memorabilia. Pricing also goes towards art & craft supplies used during camp.
