Hay Rides: A Perfect Party Addition

Add an extra touch of fun to your birthday party with a scenic hay ride! Perfect for all ages, our hay rides offer a delightful way to explore the beautiful surroundings of Sun Fires Stables. Whether you're celebrating a special day or simply enjoying time with friends and family, a hay ride adds a unique and memorable element to your party. Weather and scheduling permitting, this activity can be included for just $5 per participant. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride as you create lasting memories with your loved ones.

What to Expect at Your Birthday Party Lessons

Our Birthday Party Lessons are designed to create lasting memories. Here’s what you can expect:

The birthday person rides for the entire riding time.
Large groups will take turns riding (e.g., 9 riders: 4 riders plus the birthday person, then switch).
All participants will groom, tack up, handle, and ride a horse/pony.
Riders will play a game to earn ribbons awarded at the end of the party.
Groups of more than 5 will share horses/ponies, taking turns.
Access to a picnic area or observation room with fridge and freezer.
Indoor riding available during poor weather.

Important Note: Participants need to fill out an Indemnity Agreement, wear long pants, and preferably footwear with a ½ inch or more flat heel. Dress for the weather. Helmets are provided in various sizes.

Pricing

Our Birthday Party Lessons are priced at $50 per rider. Additionally, weather and scheduling permitting, a hay ride can be added for $5 per participant.

Important Note: Please note that Sun Fires Stables does NOT offer pony rides.
